Inspect before paying
Check the product, condition, serial number, ownership documents or other relevant details before you pay.
Protect your OTP and PIN
Never share OTPs, banking passwords, card PINs, UPI PINs or other authentication codes with a buyer or seller.
Be careful with payment links and QR codes
Do not approve unfamiliar payment requests. Receiving money normally does not require sharing a PIN or password.
Avoid pressure tactics
Be cautious if someone creates unnecessary urgency, refuses inspection or asks for unusual advance payments.
Report suspicious users
Use SellMaro reporting features when a listing, user or conversation appears suspicious.
